We have an exciting opportunity for a talented Games Programmer to join a modern gaming software company based in Sunderland.
The company was founded in 2011 and is driven by a passion for creating unique and revolutionising video game experiences.
You would work under the supervision of a Senior Programmer. You would be expected to work across a range of areas as needed, although there will be some opportunity to specialize in a particular area if there’s one you’re passionate about.
• Passionate and highly motivated
• Good knowledge of shader programming
• Highly proficient in Unity and C#
• Educated to degree level – Computer programming
• Ideally 2 years’ experience in games industry
• The ability to work well in a team as well as on individual tasks
• VR and Android experience (preferably)
• Working with designers to implement gameplay functionality and features
• Working to strict timeframes for project deliveries
• Working with clients to iterate on feedback
• Working with in-house and external testers to debug and fix bugs
• Maintaining coding standards and practices set by project leads
