‘Time for a Cuppa’ 2020

On Tuesday 3rd March, we decided to host a coffee morning for Dementia UK’s ‘Time for a Cuppa’ campaign. The campaign aims to raise money for dementia specialist nurses to support more families facing dementia. Dementia is a cause close to all of our hearts, and so it felt like a great charity to fundraise for!

As part of our coffee morning, we held a raffle with 48 wonderful prizes, and we would like extend a huge thank you to all of the wonderful businesses that donated to our raffle. Their kindness helped raise such a wonderful amount for Dementia UK.

Our team were hard at work baking for the event, with treats such as carrot and white chocolate cake, strawberry milkshake cupcakes and chocolate orange cornflake cakes just being a few of the cakes we had to offer.

In total, we raised an astounding £726.07 for Dementia UK. This wouldn’t have been possible without our bakers, donors, helpers, and cake eaters!

A massive thank you to: Hope Street Xchange, Barista and Baker, K9 Cuts Dog Grooming, 2B-Fit, Rox Salon, Crazy Chops Bistro, Total Sport NE, Hansom Devils, Peacocks Barbers, McKeith’s Sandwich Bar, The Urban Terrace Kitchen, Cosmetic Contours, Let There be Crumbs, The Broadway – Stirks Steakhouse Bar and Grill, Borneo Bistro, Bronzed Buns, Laser Quest Sunderland, Flowers from Charlotte, Scolli’s Salon, CitySpace, Durham Road Car Wash, and to everyone who donated prizes to our raffle or cakes to our bake sale.
